Under the roof of the Department of Social Anthropology and Cultural Studies (SACS), the three units of Social Anthropology (ANTHRO), Middle Eastern and Muslim Societies (MOMuG) and Religious Studies (RELWI) work closely together in both research and teaching. The department's transversal area is home to interdisciplinary activities. These include jointly designed methodological training for our students, strengthening and highlighting synergies in our research, as well as outreach activities and science communication.
